Free Lightroom Preset Love Lock

Good morning my beautiful chic readers! It feels like ages since I’ve posted a free preset. I’ve been hard at work creating new collections for the past two weeks and my mind has been stuck on auto pilot lol. Today I’m so happy to get back into the routine of posting free chic presets for you to download and enjoy! This preset is called “Love Lock” and as you probably guessed, it was inspired by this photo that I took during my last visit to Paris. I have always cherished this shot (taken Summer 2014) because months after it was taken, the city decided to cut off all the locks on this bridge. As I understand it, there had been heritage groups that were concerned that the locks were compromising the structural integrity of the bridge. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for protecting the history and beauty of Paris, but the world lost something special when the locks were cut that day. It was breath taking to walk across the bridge and see so many symbols of love from around the globe. I’m still holding out for some sort of a compromise. Maybe a free standing art piece on the bridge that you can attach a lock to instead. All I know is this, something magical happened when Tim and I attached our lock and threw away our key into the Seine River that day. We promised to continue to love each other unconditionally and we also promised to return to Paris as often as we could throughout our lives. I am so excited to share that we will be visiting Paris again for 4 days in June as part of our month long European photography trip! I’m excited to return to this bridge where we made our promise. “Love Lock” will add clarity, sharpening and definition to your shot. It also adds rich color and the slight hint of a blue tone curve.
