Introducing The Cappuccino Collection

The Cappuccino Collection: What on earth could be more luxurious than a Cappuccino, a good book and café table all to yourself? This morning I have something delicious to share with you! Today I’m introducing a new collection inspired by three things that I love: Cappuccinos, Cafés and Coffee! Most of you already know this, but I write most of my blog posts at various cafés in my home town. I have three signature spots that I frequent to mix it up. Each spot offers it’s own unique menu, crowd and atmosphere. Since starting a blog last year and evolving it into CHIC Presets, I’ve learnt that your environment will often dictate your mood… and by extension…it will also dictate how well you write that day. For example, can you imagine sitting in a dark basement with fluorescent lighting and writing a romance novel? Not very romantic, right!? When I write about photography, presets and even the events in my life, I need to be in a beautiful space. My mind needs to be inspired by what I see, smell and hear all around me. Hence the three cafés! Well, let me tell you a little story of how The Cappuccino Collection came to be. I was sitting in this very café that you see in the photos today and I was writing a post for a free preset. My mind started to wander (as it does from time to time) and I started to think about what direction I wanted to take the website in. As I was lost in my own thoughts, my attention was constantly being pulled away as the barista called out his drink orders. “Frappuccino…Decaf with cream…Hot Chocolate!” he exclaimed. And that’s when it hit me! Why not create a collection inspired by the way I feel when I’m writing at a café? Warm, toasty and inspired! I started looking up coffee culture imagery and fell in love with the style that I discovered. So then it was time to create…I came up with 40 beautiful looks that turn your photos into your own oasis of frothy bliss! It was only fitting that I would introduce the collection with photos from the café that inspired it. Enjoy the collection…
