Chic Notes No. 3

   Good morning! Isn’t May the most marvellous month of the year? The grass is green, the trees are full and we are all in a lovely mood. We walk around with a sense of wonderment as the first signs of spring have yet to loose their mysterious appeal. Everything feels fresh and new…May is the month that photographers dream about all year long. Well, this week was rather quiet for me, with the exception of Monday when we went to Niagara-On-The-Lake for the weekly Creative Edit shoot. Sometimes I enjoy having a peaceful week without too much to do. They are rare and when you’re blessed with a taste of tranquility…you savour it! I have been enjoying the week with walks at the river, trying out new summer recipes and catching up on a few things for the site. With the summer months ahead, I’ve been thinking about all the chic things that we have to look forward to:

1. Photographing beautiful sunsets over the water.
2. Leisurely dinners with wine pairings.
3. Trips to fascinating locations.
4. Sipping sangria on the patio.
5. Discovering new locations for photo shoots.
6. Weekend markets filled with fresh flowers and produce.
7. Spending time with the ones you love.
8. Lounging at home on Sunday mornings.
9. Roasting marshmallows over the fire.
10. Champagne and roses!! (of course!)
