Chic Notes No. 2

Bonjour chic readers! It’s a lovely May morning and we are taking full advantage of this sunshine! We awoke early and went to the gym, which was followed by a leisurely stroll in the park beneath the budding trees. I’m feeling rather productive today as I plan out this week’s Creative Edit. The shoot will be set in a beautiful location with lots of character…but more on that later in the week. This past week has been amazing! Tuesday morning was brought in with fluffy pancakes accompanied by delicious whipped cream and chocolate drizzle! We devoured the fruits of our labour as we lingered over morning coffee on the balcony. We found ourselves listening to the distant sounds of birds enjoying the spring weather and neighbours going about their daily routines below. This was followed by a full day of writing and editing for the blog. We enjoyed some rare down time with a trip to the Zoo on Wednesday to visit our favourite furry friends. There was also a cozy table for two on the terrace of a new café with unique architectural details. Last night was spent at the cinema where we rejoiced in the type of laughter that can only be produced from a classic comedic performance. Tonight I have dinner plans with my girlfriends. Cue the wood oven pizza and champagne! Sunday will be spent celebrating my wonderful mother and my generous mother-in-law. Well, I hope your weekend will be grand!
