Hello chic friends! Well, it’s macarons galore this week on the chic blog I suppose. I was so inspired by my free preset that I decided to feature them again for my creative edit. I adore French macarons! There is something so elegant and delicious about their texture. Crisp on the outside, with a chewy, delectable centre. Well, I’ll start by telling you about my shooting process: I used my trusty Canon 5D for the shoot with my go-to lens, the 50 mm. I used the same lens for the behind the scenes video. I also used a Canon Speedlight (Flash) 600 EX- RT with a Gary Fong Puffer (Light diffuser) to even out the shadows around the objects. You often get pesky shadows when you’re shooting indoors. I used the “Vanilla” Lightroom Preset from The Complete Collection as my base preset. I also used the “Daylight” Workflow Preset to customize my lighting. I had a little help with the shoot this week from a furry friend. Check out the behind the scenes footage to find out who it was…
