Hello my lovely chic readers! I hope that your weekend has been filled with amusement and adventure! We’ve been enjoying spring with trips to the river, picnics at the park and lots of ice cream! I’ve been really into this organic butterscotch flavour that a local mom & pop shop makes here in town. Yum! One of my favourite activities lately has been walking Bear (our American Eskimo/Pomeranian) in beautiful residential neighbourhoods. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to stroll down a street with century homes and marvel at all the architecture from the late 1800’s. We used to own a home that was built in the early 1920’s and sometimes I miss all of the stained glass and chandeliers that comes with owning an older home. We moved into a brand new condo in 2015 and I’ve done my best to bring in a few Parisian antique pieces to give the modern space some personality. Well…let’s get right into today’s post shall we? As you can see from the photos, we are talking landscape photography. These are a few shots from some of our adventures in the last two years. The title shot is the boardwalk looking over the St. Lawrence River at Le Cháteau Frontenac. This shot was taken by my very talented husband, Tim at 7:20am when the sun was rising this past October. You wouldn’t know it, but right behind the camera is a dazzling castle in the heart of Old Quebec City! The second shot is of course, The Brooklyn Bridge. This shot was taken in May 2015. If the Bridge seems empty and peaceful, I assure you it’s not! We waited 15-20 minutes before it finally cleared so that we could have a clean shot with no tourists! Immediately after our small window of opportunity, the bridge filled up again. It’s a beautiful spot, but be prepared to be crowded lol. The final shot is a small town in France called Amboise. I took this photo from the castle walls that look over the city below. As you can see from the transformations, The Landscape Collection can preform magic right before your eyes!
