What happens when you pair a passion for black & white photography with an admiration for style and elegance from the past? You get The Black & White Collection! Today I’m introducing these beautiful presets to the world and pouring my heart into a vintage creative edit to showcase the magical powers that they yield. If you take the time to get to know me a little, you’ll find that I am relentlessly in love with antiques, vintage fashion, films and photographs. I find that this love affair influences many aspects of my life, from how I choose to design my home, right down to how I present myself on special occasions. Funny enough, I think it all started with watching Disney movies as a little girl…Do you remember what it felt like to watch a fairytale unfold right before your eyes? Do you remember the way it made you want to sing, dance and dream? I devoured every Disney movie in sight as a child and watched them over and over again. The repetitive viewing eventually drove everyone in my family crazy, but I simply couldn’t get enough of the uplifting emotions I felt while watching them. Later on in life, this passion for fairytales slowly transformed into a love for all things vintage. You see, I discovered that black and white movies, photos and fashion gave me the same feeling that I longed for as a child. When I looked at old vogue magazine spreads featuring 1960’s models and actresses like Twiggy and Brigitte Bardot, I was spell bound by their elegance. When I watched Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn on the screen, I was enriched with the same desire to sing, dance and dream as I had been all those years ago. When it came time to design a black and white collection for the site, I was over the moon with enthusiasm! It was an absolute pleasure to create a world where black and white would reign. The collection features a variety of chic presets that will give you a kiss of timeless elegance. I hope you enjoy the collection…
