Creative Edit: Chic Presets – Good morning my lovely chic readers! I hope your week has been perfect so far. Today I’m sharing my weekly photoshoot with you. Let me start by telling you about my editing process. I decided to use my “Bordeaux 4” Lightroom Preset as my base for the entire shoot. “Bordeaux 4” was inspired by my time in France, as are many of my presets. I cherish the memory of walking in the vineyards in the Saint Émilion wine district and strolling down the cobblestone streets of the great city of Bordeaux. With this memory in mind, I created a preset that would balance the shadows and highlights, and add warmth and color, similar to the Bordeaux sunlight. I also used one of my light leaks on the first shot below to add a subtle hint of a sun beam in the right corner for interest. Both presets are available in The Complete Collection. I specialize in presets that brighten and soften your images. Nothing fussy or over done, just gentle kisses of elegance that create magical images. These photos were taken in the hip Queen Street West neighbourhood in Toronto two weeks ago. As you can see, we still had snow on the ground at that time. I am happy to report that everything has melted and we are now blessed with magnificent spring weather! We happened upon this beautiful street art and decided that it might be a fun place to do the shoot. With Starbucks in hand I did my best to “vogue” my way through the shots.
