Hello everyone, I hope that your week has been lovely so far! I’ve spent the morning inside as a winter storm rolled in last night and gave us a few feet of snow. It seems that Jack Frost has decided to send us off into Spring with style! Well, it’s Wedding Wednesday and today we are talking about light leaks. As we all know, lighting is the most important component of photography. Natural light photographers tend to love and loath the subject of lighting. We are in love with our photographs when the universe gives us soft, even lighting. We also loath the sun when we are forced to shoot in harsh conditions. Wedding photographers know all about this subject! I always say that they are a special breed. They are given the task to produce gorgeous images in often difficult and daunting circumstances. “Cool Light” I designed this preset to cool down the sun. As you know, wedding ceremonies are often held outside and they can take place in harsh lighting conditions. “Cool Light” can help you when you are given the dreaded mid-day sun ceremony!

“Sun Right” This light leak preset brightens and adds warmth to your photos from the right, giving the illusion of sunlight. Don’t fret! I also have one that does the same from the left. lol Adding sun to a shot creates a fairytale moment that the couple will die for!

“Funky Fresh” This playful light leak mixes patches of sun with the illusion of light prisms. Can you spot the slight hints of yellow, red and blue?
