Travel Mondays: Portrait Firenze, Florence
Good morning everyone! I hope that your weekend was relaxing and you’re feeling refreshed this morning. My weekend was comprised of a live event…a walk by the river…a photo shoot and a little romance. Friday night we received tickets to attend a live event in town from one of our generous neighbours. It’s been a while since I sat in a crowd and I was truly inspired by the positive energy that people can create when they come together for the same cause. Saturday was date night, we cooked a delicious pasta dinner and enjoyed red wine pairings. Finally, Sunday was “a walk in the park!” We braved the cold air and went for a stroll by the river. Later in the day we took some photos for the blog, which I will be posting this week so stay tuned. As for today, well it’s Travel Monday! This weekend I dreamt about Italy. When searching for luxury accommodations in Florence, this hotel was recommended in spades: Portrait Firenze! How do you say Trés Trés CHIC in Italian? This hotel overlooks the Ponte Vecchio bridge in the heart of Florence. The suites are adorned with lavish furniture and stunning views. Their website claims “Hospitality is an art, and Portrait Florence has made of it a masterpiece.” What a fantastic way to spend a few days in Italy! Now…allow me to take you away to Florence…if only for a few minutes…
