Free Lightroom Preset Painted Venice

   Hey chic photographers! Your weekly free Lightroom preset is ready for you to download! This one is called: Painted Venice. When we were in Europe last month, I was obsessed with the idea of bringing home a painting from Italy. I love rummaging through dusty old antique stores and I was determined to bring home a piece of art to hang in our home. As I searched from shop to shop, all I could find was knock-off, touristy type paintings. There was nothing that felt authentic and original. One day we decided to check out a neighborhood that was off the beaten track. We found this lovely art studio on the corner of a beautiful crumbling Venetian building. I could see all of the gorgeous pieces just waiting to be discovered through the window. There was a hand-written note posted on the front door that said something in Italian. We assumed that it said something along the lines of: “I will be back in five minutes.” We waited and waited, but the artist didn’t come back. Eventually, we asked someone walking by what the sign meant. They told us that it read “Closed early for the day, back in the morning.” I was disappointed, to say the least, but I knew that we would likely find something the following day. Well…we never ended up finding a painting in Italy. I created a preset to give my shots that painted look I was after that day. “Painted Venice” will sharpen, saturate and outline your photos to give the appearance of a hand painted piece of art.
